Despite a capacity of around 200,000 gallons a year of production, there were no official bottlings during its lifetime, and most malt fans had barely heard of it until a series of stunning Rare Malt bottlings (as St. Magdalene) in the mid-to-late 1990s. The brand is now one of the highest praised lost distilleries in Scotland with some excellently collectable bottlings now available to buy. Some of the rarest are often faught over by realy whisky collectors.
Considering all of this there are still several bottlings available to buy for less than £100 which is excellent value for money.
