Scapa Distillery is to be found at St. Ola on The Islands of Orkney overlooking Scapa Flow famous in naval history. Established in 1885 it was mothballed in 1994 but thankfully was reopened in 2004 with renovations ongoing. The majority of the malt produced goes into blends Ballantine’s and Teacher’s.
Various expressions are available and are good examples of the art of non smoked island malt whisky.
