Teaninich Distillery was founded in 1815 and is to be found at Alness, Ross-shire, Highland Region. It was the first distillery to install electricity.

Most of the production goes to blends such as Johnnie Walker. The first distillery bottlings of Teaninich Single Malt only became available in 1992 although independent bottlings can also be had.

Teaninich is a full, densely flavoured malt to be savoured.
