Ballechin is a recent development from the Edradour distillery, consisting of releases of young, peated whisky matured in different styles of wine cask.  It has a unigue depth of flavour, as do most Highland malts, but the Ballechin is one you must try in your lifetime.  Buy today however, as their production isn’t large enough to delay.
