Colour: Golden amber. Without water Nose: Reminiscent of Christmas cake - rich fruits with some fresh orange peel notes and a hint of chocolate. Palate: Mouth warming, some peppery influences, fresh lemon zest and creamy. Finish: Long and warming. With water Nose: Underlying sweetness, fresh pear notes and a subtle almond in the background. Palate: Mouth warming with a heavy sweetness evident. Creamy coffee element and less complex. Body: Heavy. Finish: Long and nutty - hazelnuts. Cask Type: Sherry casks.
