Colour: Rich gold. Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Dried fruits - christmas cake, hints of menthol and spearmint. A touch of treacle sweetness. Palate: Sweet, rich fruits again with a menthol note. Citrus peel and marmalade with a slight resinous edge. With water: Nose: Sweet, treacle toffee - candy floss. Chocolate aromas with hints of raisins and sultanas. A touch of charred oak. Palate: Rich fruit and spice flavours - menthol, cinnamon and nutmeg all present. Sweet sherry notes give a rounding influence. Body: Rich and full. Finish: Sherry with a touch of spices. Cask Type: First Fill Sherry Butt. Style: A rich, full flavoured whisky with a strong sherry influence.
