Colour: Straw. Tasting notes, undiluted: Nose: Very clean, sweet fruity aromas - pineapple chunks. Delicate floral/herbal note. Palate: Coating with vanilla and oak flavours. Cereal/malty notes also evident. With water: Nose: More floral and earthy aromas present. Some fruity aromas - cooking apples. Sweet elements slowly return. Palate: Sweet, toasted malt flavours initially. Starts to dry out with hints of dried tobacco and charred oak. Body: Light, refreshing. Finish: Short, slightly dry. Cask Type: Refill American Hogsheads. Whisky Style: Delicate, an aperitif.
