Tomatin Distillery was founded in 1897 and is situated approximately 13 miles south-east of Inverness. In the late 1970′s it was the largest malt distillery in Scotland with 23 stills although this has been reduced. Most of the production goes for blending with some being exported in bulk. The malt can be found in The Antiquary and Talisman blends.
