The first new distillery to be built in Scotland in the 20th century Tormore was constructed in 1959. Architecturally very pleasing the building has been ‘listed’ because of its beauty and it can no longer be altered externally.

Almost all of the production goes to Chivas blends but thankfully distillery bottlings are available together with a few independents.
